Otoscope Setup

MOBI Otoscope set up instructions

1. Go to a location that is within range of your router to ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal during setup
2. Go to Mobi Smart app > Home > Select "Add Device" or the + icon on top right corner > Select Otoscope
3. Insert name and password of the Wi-Fi signal smart phone is connected to, then select "next"
4. Select desired mode of connection in the top right corner
5. Steps on screen may be different than what is provided here, as we may have not changed the instructions here yet

Setup in EZ Mode

1. Ensure your device is powered OFF
2. Press and hold the power button for 10 sec
3. Release once the LED indicators start flashing
4. Tap to confirm the LED Lights are flashing, then proceed
5. Wait for device to be discovered
6. When the otoscope is discovered, select the device, ensure connection indicator has completed, then select "done" on the top right

Setup in AP Mode

1. Skip instructions and select "Go to Connect" in the final page; once in the settings menu, go to the Wi-Fi settings and select “SL-MOBI XXXX" (Note that this signal is Otoscope’s Wi-Fi signal & will be without an Internet. If it states there is "no internet connection," ignore and proceed once Wi-Fi connects. Later, when the otoscope is powered off, your phone will reconnect to a different Wi-Fi)
2. After a successful connection to “SL-MOBI XXX” Wi-Fi, open the MOBI App and wait for successful device recognition
3. When the otoscope is discovered, select the device, ensure connection indicator has completed, then select "done" on the top right
